Welcome to Canada and Saskatchewan! Your local Wapiti Regional Library branch has many free services, resources, and materials to help you transition to and enjoy life in your new home.

Visit your local library to sign up for a free library card. Learn how to get a library card and how the system works.

Attend free programs at your library. There are programs for the whole family: storytimes for preschoolers, crafts and clubs for kids, and activities for adults.  View upcoming program details.

Use a computer for free. All Wapiti libraries have computers with internet and email access, word processing, and printing. All you need is your free library card.

Borrow our materials. With your free library card, you can borrow books, movies, and music.

Access e-Resources. Use your library card to access online eBooks, audiobooks, stream music and movies, read newspapers from around the world, research products or services, and much more. View a list of our free e-Resources.

 Prince Albert YWCA Settlement Services
  • Services are free of charge to newly-landed immigrants and refugees locating to Prince Albert, Saskatchewan
  • Short-term assistance for individuals and families. Long-term assistance can extend up to five years
  • Even if you do not speak English, Settlement Services will be able to help, using an interpreters and translators
  • You may bring a family member or friend to translate for you
  • Speak to a Settlement Advisor to ask about community resources and services to meet your needs such as health and wellness, public transit orientation, employment, housing, learning English, etc.

Saskatchewan International Skilled Worker Application (SINP)
